This Black & Blue Halter top is knit from the warm and fluffy Aspen by Muench. I only had 6 balls of yarn, four blue and two black. I thought the blue offered such a nice contrast to black, and this design reminds me of a hot little top I used to wear out clubbing when I was in college.
You know how I love zippers. They allow you to control how much you reveal, and conceal.
I knit this halter top in a simple 1-1 ribbing, and allowed the increases to mold the ribs into body defining curves. The fashion photography doesn't show this detail very clearly, but a careful examination of the fabric texture shown in the gallery will reveal all.
Let me know what you think of this new design. Would you like to see a pattern for it?
